1986 4runner parting out
« on: Feb 20, 2008, 11:51:19 AM »
I have a complete 1986 4runner that I'm parting out.  At this point it's totally complete.  The engine is done and has a bad rod knock.  Everything else is good.  pretty much everything is stock but in great working order besides the engine.  Nothing has yet been pulled.

the 4runner is red with brown interior and is EFI.  it passed smog and was a good running daily driver before the motor went.  it is still registered until 8/08.

just a few parts and prices to start off with(that are easy to take off):

red 4runner top--perfect condition--$100
stock roll bar--$25
pair of doors-great condition-with keys, wing windows and manual cranks--$175
brown center console--$40
4runner tailgate-perfect condition-window works from inside and outside key-with key--$200
back seats with headrests--no rips--$75
front seats-rip by drivers door-otherwise pretty good shape--$40
rear driveshaft--no dents--$50
front driveshaft--no dents--$40
dashboard-top pad part-no cracks--$50
front fenders--$50 each
tail lights--no cracks-$50 pr
chrome front bumper--stock with turn signals-with end caps--great condition-$50
chrome stock rear bumper--little bent on driver side--with end caps--$40

I'm sure there is lots more that people want but not listed.  you might have to help pull if it's not easy to get to yet.

No shipping unless you are paying and it's small and light.

If you want something else, let me know

I'm in vacaville, CA--35 minutes west of sac--30 minutes east of the bay area.

post up and i'll get back to you quick.  first come first serve.

thanks
Greg

Yes, all parts are going.   I haven't pulled it yet though.

are you planning on coming to nor cal anytime soon?

I would probably cost $100 to ship it.

sorry but not selling the whole rig.  if you want the whole rig bad enough, then make me good offer I can't refuse.  it's still a whole truck.

How about $100 for the transfer case.

email me at gregory_heizer@csaa.com and you can work out pickup details.

the rims are chrome with black centers and tires are stockish.  I need tires and rims for rollers though.

if you want to make a trade plus like say $50, let me know and we can switch them out.

about the rear window switch, I'm going to have to pull it to find out.  You've got to give me a couple of days.

i'll get back to you.

I pulled the center console and the switch does not have a green end.  It is the regular creme colored end.

are you still interested?

I need to read a manual to lock them? lol  So I found these neat autolocking hubs and installed them. Sometimes they dont stay locked while I am backing up, but that's fine because I dont have a backup camera to see where Im going (like our RV) so I just simply dont ever back up"- BigMike

would you take $80 cash?  Also do you have a working windsheild washer reservoir pump(its inside the washer reservoir).

i'm not sure where groveland, ca is but I'm assuming you need to have this shipped.  it's probably $20 at least to ship.  I have the working washer bottle pump thing too.  How about $120 shipped and I'll throw in the washer bottle and pump.

I can do paypal.  email me at gregory_heizer@csaa.com and we can work out the details.

thanks
Greg

okay, cool.  how about $100 for both the washer bottle/pump and the steering box.  Friday anytime during the day or evening is great for me.

email me later in the week and we can set something up for friday.

thanks

No dont part it out, people like ME I trying to find a 4Runner just like that. Its so easy to put a motor in it, no need to part it out. I been looking for a clean Runner like that for some time now,  what have you sold off that thing can you let me know how much is gone.  :driving:

I haven't sold much yet but I've done a lot of wrenching.  tranny, transfercase out, interior gutted, all the belts, accessories off the motor.  the actual 4runner is left, fenders, hood, top, doors, etc still there.

Are the front seats still available?  They should fit in a 95 pickup, right?  What about the 3rd members?  Are they stock, what gearing, locked?
