Can you switch the 4wd light over to a 2wd cluster?
RIP KYOTA

You can go through life being scared of the possible, or you can have a little fun and tease the inevitable.

I think that I have one, but I just looked where I thought it was and it isn't there.  :smack:  I'll take another look tomorrow when it's light.

Nate  if  you can send him the tach  that he needs  i would consider it a personal favor

i sold him the cluster that was from a  79-82  that  worked  but  didnt  fit,  then sent him a 83 cluster from a truck i was told "everything works"  :headshake:  apparently the tach  didnt work,

I'm sorry Cacy,   like i said in PM  keep that other cluster

im  positive  you could swap the 2wd tach to the 4wd cluster

I have an 83 for sale on here if your interested.  I don't need the cluster you have, but if you have other yota parts I may be interested.  Don't know if this helps or not, but let me know.

*edit*
Sorry forgot to look at the date.

Just so everyone knows, the tach and gouges from a 2WD cluster work fine in the 4WD cluster.  You have to open the clusters and remove the screws adn the wala! ALL DONE!  Just did it on mine.  Tach ws hammered, swaped from another cluster, works great now.
