84 22r head on and 86 22re?

i found a steal on an new 84 22r head but i dont know if it will fit on my 86 22re? Thanks
1986 extracab, SAS 38.5's Locked Duals, truggyfied, beadlocks
1988 2wd bagged and body dropped 3'' with a healthy 22r....

Why wouldnt this work???  The 84's are drilled for the efi manifold...I'am pretty sure it does work, I could be wrong though.
