How much lift can you do on the rear of a 99 4runner without doing anything to the links.

I've seen 4" in a 95(non taco). Worked, but drives very funny.  I'd stick to 3"
Diggin a hole with plastic
90 ext cab toy, short 40 Iroks, detroit and diamond, mco8-r10 duals with twin stick, 4.7 gears and 30 spline Longs/hub gears-studs

I just bought a 99 4 Runner highander.  I have about the same lift questions...  And if the 99 is higher than other 3rd gen 4 runners then how much do the advertised lifts actuall lift it?

I have around $600 to spend.  I just want to level it out, the back sags just barely, and maybe add an inch or two...   The back is going to have camping gear etc in it and I may pull a small utility trailer on occasion...

Im thinking of going with tundra coils up front and OME 891s in the rear...

Any rear spring reccomendations?

Anyone know how much lift tundra springs give on the front for a 99 4Runner?

I'm currently runnin the Revtek 3" front and rear on my 2000 4runner and its doin pretty good.  I just threw on some 285 75 r16's on it and I'm not rubbing at all, its close but no rubs so far.  You can get the kit for around $340 too so its not a bad way to go.
It's only tough if you weren't built for it
