I have a 79 toyota pickup and recently added a 32/36 weber, when I was installing the carb I was removing all of the smog crap that I could. Now when I try to start my truck I am not getting any fuel. I disconnected the fuel line and cranked it over and no fuel came out. I then dropped the tank to check for voltage. As soon as it was cranked over it spiked at 1 volt and then dropped. I think that I removed something that I shouldn't oh well. I bought a in line fuel pump that had a little more psi and removed the intank pump I was curious if anyone had rewired there fuel pump. it looks pretty easy just run a fused wire from your battery to a relay and then ground your relay and run a wire that is hot when you are in run and then run wire to your pump Just seeing if that is right and Im not going to blow my self up. Thanks in advance for any help
