I have Vista on the laptop, your results may vary.

From the windows start menu, there is a search box.  Type in "command prompt" and you should get a black window with the prompt, or a link to get one.

Type in the command "ipconfit/flushdns"

I didn't have any problems with my router.  If it doesn't work I don't know how to reboot the router without turning it off and back on again.

Did the flush and powered down the router for 10sec., nuttin'.  :headscratch: Oh well, house is getting cleaner.
27-AT, some other adapter, flipped D300, twin sticks on cables.

Your local ISP could still have an old DNS cash in there somewhere.   Give it time.

Thats what I am guessing for my.. I did the old ipconfig/flushdns reset the router, and restarted the computers, on both the desktop and my laptop, and still don't have PBB on either.  Oh well.. It better come back soon though.

Can someone teach an idiot how to do this? :hammerhead:

Start>Run - Type cmd in the Run box and your dos window will open up, then type what he wrote ipconfig /flushdns

I guess some of us got lucky, and the rest of us are screwed.  This is making me re-think renewing my vendor star.. especially because the prices went from $100 to $240 for a year... Hmmmm

Yeah, I get that ALOT.  That being said, I have gotten a few orders, and sent ALOT of quotes, but most of the people just kick my tires, to see if I'll beat the prices of other Amsoil dealers.  I'm probably the smallest Amsoil dealer on that board, so I can't really afford to take the hit that some of them can.  To be honest, I doubt I've even made enough in profit to justify that yellow star at $100/year, let alone now that its being raised to $240/year, I am just not sure its worth it anymore.

Exactly why I am rethinking my advertising spending for this next year.  Lance says its being done to "weed out" the not so serious vendors   Its not that I'm not serious, or that I wouldn't be willing to pay that much, IF I got business from the site.  I don't get THAT much business from the site, so I just need to evaluate if its REALLY worth it.

This is what wermz wrote in the shoutbox:

Today at 07:06:14 PM Wermz84 – it is probably your isp's dns.
Today at 07:05:47 PM Wermz84 – DNS is a massive distributed database world wide.  with the slip of the domain name it will still take up to 48 hours for all of the databases to converge.

I can't believe they screwed up that bad as to forget to pay to renew their domain!
