Holley 350 Conversion
« on: Dec 29, 2007, 08:30:19 AM »
Ok,
Thinking about a Holley 350 Carb conversion, looking for some feedback, I was wondering better gas mileage? More power? More complications? I currently run 20R MSD Ignition, LCE Header, Flowmaster Muffler, Optima battery, Stock Distributor, Cooling System Stock as well.

No imput on the Holley carbs but the stock Aisin is the cats meow once it's tuned correctly. The truck will run standing on the front bumper!

Werd, I'd convert to a 22r carb.  Your stock 20r carb is around 240 cfm I think, 22r carb is 325 and the holley is 350, all 2 bbl.  Get a good 22r carb and an adapter from lc engineering and get more power on the cheap.

i really didn't like my 20r carburetor, the weber is fine,, but for this winter weather I've thought about trying a 22r carb again. what year would you say is the best? I know i had and 86 toy with a carburetor... ran like a swiss watch and got 25 mpg.
