Topic: Anyone know anything about suzuki cars?

I have a 97 suzuki Swift.  A friend had ran off the road and into a cornfield with it.  Stuck a cornstalk through the radiator and deployed the airbags.  The car only has 36,xxx miles.  He put a new radiator in it.  But was moving and didn't have the money to finish fixing it so now I have it.  Other than the airbags deployed and the windshield cracked from his head hitting it, it seems to be good to go.  Except I can't get it to start.  It cranks over perfectly, just dosen't start. 
Anyone know if suzukis have a switch somewhere that shuts the fuel off when the airbags deploy?  Or have any other suggestions?

Could be out of gas though, haven't really had time to mess with it!

if the airbags deployed, is it possible it did some damage to the distributor? knocked the timing off? i am not sure about the fuel shutoff, but i guess it could make sense...

is it the GTI or just the standard swift?

It is the standard swift.  It would be cool to get it going.  Advertises like 40+ miles per gallon highway!  Or I may put  a for sale sigh on it

Sure, I probably would.  I really haven't messed with it at all.  I just got a key made for it, because the guy couldn't find it.  And it didn't have a pattery on it, so I just hooked jumper cables to it from my truck and it cranked over like a champ.  I didn't have time to mess with it other than that.

The exterior looks new.  I didn't even see a scratch on it...  And it is Red.

It depends on why it won't start.  I figure fair private party retail, minus a new front windshield and a couple hundred bucks for detailing it.  Then minus what ever the reason it won't start...  May be a good number to start at.  I just need the cash to finish my Yotar.  I will check it out on Monday and get it started and give you a real number if you want, or you can make me a decent offer and we can go from there.

I checked it out today, but was evaluating a sniper class so didn't have time to mess with it other than just look at it and in it.  It is in excellent shape minus the crack in the front windshield and needs the interior cleaned...  It may just need gas, but dosen't have a battery on it so I couldn't check the guage.  It may just need cleaned out from sitting for a while too but i hooked jumper cables up to it after checking the oil and fluids and it cranked right over with no problem.
