ORCRC round 2 Crawling Comp results and pictures....
« on: May 25, 2004, 06:41:14 PM »
With all the real comps heating up thought I'd share some pictures and results from ORCRC's recent Round 2 results from our crawling comps.

Next comp will be mid-late June... And the full-size crawlers will be competing too.  That's going to make 3 classes:

Class 1 - 2.2 and smaller tires
Class 2 - Clod/Maxx tires
Class 3 - Kong tires

Lots of info at:
http://www.rccrawler.com/postp6103.html#6103
Pictures and video are at:
http://www.gerrish.net/orcrc2.htm
http://www.da-juggy.com/orcrc/2004/05-23/

Results for Course 1 (section 1 and 2) In order:

1st) Sean's Rubicon Emaxx Hybrid: -10 points, total time: 10:51
2nd) Dan's Bronco X-factor Hybrid: -15 points, total time: 10:12
3rd) Brett's Jugg Hybrid: -40 points, total time: 14:23

Sean's FJ40 Emaxx Hybrid: -50 points , total time: 11:40

Don's upgraded Emaxx: -110 points, total time: 9:45
Matt's Single Force: -110 points, total time: 14:18
Chuck's Upgraded Emaxx: DNF
Dave's Blue Emaxx: DNF

About the same size :D

BTW: We are looking for backing from the off-road world to really get these comps/events more known.  It be great if some local(PNW) companies and business came out and showed support for the growing RC crawling scene.  Plus the aftermarket world for RC crawlers doesn't exist.... Businesses that are off-road realated could really tap into these little guys and make some money. We need lots of things CNC'd, fabbed, etc.  The next movement is building real portal boxes with reductions.

 :smack:

Mine, the one being jumped over in the last picture has a low low ratio of 478:1... so I could probably tug a Zuki out of a mud hole 8)

The newest crawler(Tater-Tot) is looking to have a nice final crawl ratio of 718:1
