I agree. Do it! That is sick that it fits perfectly in there. Should have been there from the factory!! BTW, nice third gen. that thing is pretty.  :yesnod:

Be careful too if yours has the factory alarm. I got locked in my dads 4runner for an hour the other day because I didnt have the master key nor the little clicker. I sat in the car for more than 30 seconds with the doors locked, the alarm got set and when I tried to get out, the 4runner wouldnt let me out! The unlock button didnt work, the manual locks were stuck down and every attempt to pull on them set the alarm off. flopping lame.

It also didnt help that one of the little rails in the ignition cylinder (that works with the alarm to allow the ignition to unlock) also happened to break and jam up the ignition right at that moment, so I couldnt turn the thing over. I had to wait for my parents to come and use their clicker to unlock the truck and get me out. I had to get it towed to a Toyota dealer because the ignition was locked. Just keep a master key or a remote opener with you at all times and dont end up like me...locked INSIDE a 4runner. Trust me, I was pissed. I think if the ignition didnt get jacked at the same time I probably could have just started it and solved my problems but I am not sure. Even the toyota mechs were amazed at my poor luck.

It's the form that gives it's strength, I rolled my old 4Runner (with cap off) and roll bar remained in tack, flipped her on her feet and drove on!
