So does the 85 Rear axle with the 4.88s have an limited slip in it? or is it open differential?

I am going to say since I don't remember that it is open. That was the second set of gears I put in the rear of the truck and frankly I don't remember what it was other then 4.88's I did it a about 2 1/2 years ago and I think I put maybe 3k miles on them if that. Since they were installed. The front gears probably have 150 miles on them if they are lucky..

Earl sheib actually... 500 bucks and 6 year warranty against cracking and peeling... If you want a wider selection of colors just go to sherwin williams and get a brand called 2nd dimension that is the series of paint that they use.

whats the skinny on the motor and the carb need bottom end my rod went south for the winter lol. interested in the whole motor or long short whatever's left. Buddy needs carb did it work ok. Tha.nks

Both carb and intake setups are complete and original Both were in mechanical working order when removed. Vaccum lines are still intact to the carbs. I originally threw a spark plug from the engine head. I replaced the entire head and timing chain and general maint. Everything on the head minus the came are new parts installed. I think the cam has a worn lob because it has valve chatter that I could not get adjusted on the number 3 exhaust. The compression is great in all 4 cylinders (proof should be the fact that it spit out the #1 spark plug from the block 3 times). As temp fixes on the OLD head I had taped it, helicoiled, and helicoiled with JBWELD every time it took the plug and the repair out of the block. The head and T/C probably have 4k miles on it the bottom end about 130K I think. I NEVER did anything to the bottom half of the engine I am also not the original owner so I have no idea what was prior history. I was getting between 20 -24 MPG with it in the truck. I pulled the motor since I destroyed the truck... thats why I have all of these parts for sale.

Heres the deal. Everything but the 4.88 gears and the biarfileds I am keeping Whatever other parts I have laying around everything goes for $425 OBO. You come pick it up and clean me out.

This will include, motor, carbs, axles, suspension parts and other bolt on stuff.

Time for me to relocate.

Sure $40 bucks and it WON'T include the 4.10 gears, the rotors, knuckles, or calipers. It will be a bare housing with no internals or anything else.

Still have shock hoops and spring. I pulled the springs off of my 85 from the rear not sure anymore what they are think maybe 3"
