85 carbed to 91 efi????
« on: Oct 27, 2007, 11:14:36 PM »
I have a 85 22r and my carb is shot so I got all the stuff to do a efi swap, I am using my block and head. However the efi set up cam off of a 91, how hard is it going to be to swap? Or should I sell all the stuff and get a closer year?

I think it would be fairly difficult but well worth the effort, I live in oroville along with goose and ontherocks and I think the three of us would be willing to help you out if you have a problem, I have seen your truck in person driving in paradise and it is way to nice to sell,
but thats just my 2 cents.
It can be done.

yeah they are cool but I dont like not having a bed, and the rear visibility is bad. plus I warped my doors from flexing.
efi swap yours and buy a runner, it should be worth more money efi.
