ya the 2 or 3 people that had those tires were getting stuck every 20 ft. those tires do suck. there good for full size trucks like duramax's, F350s, dodges...etc. the side walls dont bag for anything and the compound is super hard.

The only way those tires do good is to run them at like a half pound but they slow you down a lot because they are so heavy.  But the do squat real good.  3 lbs in those tires are a lot still.  Never blew a bead at a half lb psi.  The tire last for ever this is the second season i have been runing them in snow and rocks.

ok its 1 lb and i always do that in the snow.  The only down side is that its hard to take off for me because i have a carb motor.  But other than that it has always worked.  At 3 lbs i get stuck but when i air to to where the gage does not read then the way i go some more.  I am planing on getting 40 inch iroks for the snow because they are lighter.

Gettiing stuck and getting stuck often is the name of the game when wheeing in the snow(regardless of tire size), especially when you are breaking trail and dealing w/the depths that you guys had last weekend.

is .5psi even worth it?

PSI is dependant upon the snow conditions, I usually start off w/about 10(AT's), and then adjust from there down.  Dropping from 7psi to 5[si makes a difference in traction and so does from 5 to 3 and so on.  You want the tire to have enough flex so that it can grip the snow as you drive along, when at the right psi for the tore the tire will resemble an almost track like look, i.e, a patch of snow then a small clear section of tire than a patch of snow, then clear etc.  Fortunately unlike MT's AT's have a softer sidewall and flatten out sooner(larger foot print) than MT's allowing them to run at a higher pressure which helps to avoid blown beads, this allows you to get the same/better performance out of a smaller size AT than a larger MT.

That is true i start out with 10 then go to 5 then 1 or 2 it depends
