Topic: help wont start crank ...or anything

I just picked up a built 95 yota, with all kinds of mods, any ways it was a buddy of mines and he put dual cases in it and never hooked up the wiring, that runs to the trans, and o2 sensor. Now it wont crank or anything when you turn the key, would those wires cause it to do so? I got it to fire and run on starting fluid and a hot wire to the starter, but its not getting gas, so then I ran a hot wire to the fuel pump that got the fuel pump working but still no start. Any info is helpfull thank you

no that shouldn't matter,check all your fuses and grounds....what motor are you working on?

Its a 22re, sorry about that, I am going to work on it tommarow eve for a few hours, I ran a few jumper cables around to the motor, frame, and body and still nuthing so Im thinking its a relay??? thanks

is the starter cranking at all or is it just going "click"?

The start wont crank unless, I run a hot wire staright to it then it cracks like normal.

check your starter wires there should be one from your positive going down to it and another little wire that goes in it also. and also make sure your terminals are clean and tight

got it yessssssssssssssss. it was not getting power to the fuse box in the cab..thanks guys
