All the factory gauges can be adapted, tach is a little harder. The weld in motor mounts is what i used and i think where a better choice in the end. I kept the  stock manifold is what i stuck with and built my exhaust from there. I used the howell engineering wiring harness and all i can say is that alone made this a breeze. The bellhousing and clutch assembly are centerforce and work well. This swap is so simple and the man hours are quite low, took me about 50 work hours. Feel free to ask me any questions. Oh and everything i used is from Advance Adapters and the wiring from howell.

I am recently going to a 700r4 auto and i am putting all of my manual bellhousing up for sale if you are interested. http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=40324.0 I will cut you a deal if you want on the parts. You will just need the engine, engine mounts, starter, wiring kit, and a radiator.

I have a 4.3 out of a 2000 astro van with the painless harness.  I use a computer from a 97 because it doesn't have all the theft codes to work around.  There is also a trick to making the alternator charge too.  I would recommend a 700r4 to go along with this swap.  I made my own motor mounts.  The truck is an absolute rocket ship, all that is done to the engine is a good set of headers and a free flowing air intake.  I also had to pull the fuel tak out and replace the puny little dip tube and return line to something larger.  I used copper tubing and brazed them in.  Holler if you need some help........already been down your road.
