New Top Shift conversion, how many are interested?
« on: Oct 16, 2007, 05:38:56 PM »
As of right now I am faced with the same problem as many of you are. I need to convert my forward shifting t-case to a top shift in order to dual them up. Marlin no longer sales the top shift kit, in case you didnt know, so I will be attempting to make my own. Ill be working with a 91 forward shift and will be machining new shift rails out of high grade steel. Tomorrow I will be contacting Marlin to see what he thinks about the whole thing.

Comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Randy

thats all good stuff, but I still see people that want to buy something that they can bolt in and it will work. Not everybody wants to take a chance in messing it up. So, in conclusion I am still going to machine new parts to sell to solve the problem.

Thanks for the post

I'm pretty interested.  I have several forward shift cases that need converting.  How much are you looking to sell your kits for?
