Anyone whose ever been to the High Lakes north of Chico/Paradise/Magalia or heard of it should read the following and give our organization a good look over...
During July 2007, the USFS (by forest order) closed portions of four routes to all entry at the High Lakes. Friends of the High Lakes has joined together and formed a non-profit organization to ongo efforts to preserve the beauty and integrity of the High Lakes and maintain motorized access to the routes.
