Topic: spring rate and rear lift?

i need some help on deciding what kind or rear kit i should get on my 93 4runner and how high? i have an allpro 4'' sas kit.
and im wondering what the significance is behind the spring rates. is it the lighter the spring rate the better or the heavier the spring rate the better. i would greatly appreciate all the help i could get

Higher spring rate will be a stiffer ride and lower spring rate will be softer. The key is to get a spring rate the matches the weight of your rig and the type of wheeling you are doing. Too soft and it will be very rolly and too stiff and it's gonna beat you up. You're runner is pretty heavy in the back and if you carry a lof of gear you're not going to want to be too soft.

for more of a dd would it be better to get marlins or allpros rear.
