leaf spring conversion help.
« on: Sep 06, 2007, 04:46:14 PM »
I'm planning on putting rear springs up front and mazda springs on the rear of my 85 yoty. The only prob I have is settin up the leaf packs. Does any body have any ideas to get the right ride hide to fit the 36" IRoks I have on now. I'm guessing gettin 4" or 5" out of the springs is were I want it. thnks

if you are good with some trimming you could probably do it with 4" of lift, might wnat to look into firewall tub mod too

I put rears up front with f-150's in the rear. Added a single f-150 leaf to the pack up front and I have room for 37's

I got  about 4 inches. you have to move the rear spring hanger because they are a little longer. I think I moved mine about 3.5 inches
