1993 Toyota Baja Truck part-out NOR CAL
« on: Aug 21, 2007, 08:20:37 PM »
I am posting this for a friend of mine. He has a 1993 Single Cab Toyota baja truck. He is swapping a V8 and drivetrain into his truck and most of the vehicle is up for grabs. The body, interior, and rear end/rear suspension are not for sale. everything else is.

Drivetrain:

SOLD - 93' Toyota 3.0 V6 from an automatic 4runner w/ 100xxx miles. Ready to run, comes with complete wiring harnesss, computer, fuel injection, radiator, and K&N intake. The only thing he is keeping are the headers. Everything else is there. Needs the knock sensor to be replaced ($100 part)

SOLD - 93' V6 5 Speed manual transmission with a balanced flywheel, newer Centerforce clutch (year or so old)

SOLD - 93' 23 Spline Transfercase

It is all in good working order (aside from the knock sensor needing replacement) and is coming out of a running vehicle. I have ridden in this truck many times and it is a strong running, peppy motor.

SOLD - the front suspension is also for sale. It is the 1st Generation Total Chaos Caddy Kit with new lower ball joints, steering extensions, oversized torsion bars and uniball uppers. This kit can be used with 2 or 4 wheel drive  toyotas. 4wd use recommends T100 axles depending on how much you crank the torsions. Includes shock hoops but shocks are not included. Again, riding in this truck was liking cruising in a baja cadillac. Rides smooth as silk and its tough as hell. Asking $600 OBO

1985 2WD rear axle, stock gears. BEST OFFER

1985 2WD 5 speed tranny, shifts great good condition - BEST OFFER

Recap:
3.0 V6 Complete w/o headers - SOLD
Tranny/tcase - SOLD
Total Chaos front suspension kit - SOLD
85 2WD rear axle - BEST OFFER
85 5 speed transmission - BEST OFFER

Located in Grass Valley, California. No shipping, local pickup/possible delivery.

I want to say it is a 7.5 but I am really not sure. It came out of a 1985 2wd extra cab. I will get back to you on that.

I am not certain enough to answer those questions. I know he did a lot of work to it before he put it in his truck in the first place so it does have a lot of new parts. Your best bet is to give Wade a call though.

I dunno. Is there any way to identify the ring gear size without pulling the third member?
