I have a 22re block that ran just fine.  The head that was attached to it needed to be replaced so I just replaced the whole thing.
Its a bare block but I have the oil pump and water pump too.  Im in the Bay Area and will let this go SUPER cheap.

what accessories are on the motor? and where are you located?

I have a complete 22re out of an 86 might sell if the price is right.  it has a/c and has 73000 miles and runs great.

I know this thread is old but it looks like it never got anywhere. i have a 22re sitting in my 86 4runner im looking to sell. it has 230K on it but it ran good before I took the truck apart.  It has all the accessories...its a complete motor. it had power steering but i took that off for someone...im not sure if he still wants it. I live in sonoma county in CA. let me know if you still need it

I just scrapped a rolled 4 runner and kept the 22re motor, tranny and transfer case. It was an 87 and the motor was just rebuilt about 100 miles before it rolled. I'm in Ohio if anyone is interested. 740-808-5091

i have one complete. i was told that it runs when i bought it just don't have time to put it in my crawler.. although the guy i bought it from cut the wiring harness so if anything you can replace it.. i'm in SoCal. need this thing gone ASAP
