Kinda reminds me in Highschool I was in a rush and went to back out of the garage and my little sis had her belt stuck in the door then she opened it and which folded the back door over the front door in a very simular way...

The door opened itself against the rock then got shoved between two rocks but that was nice about the jaws of life. I have to hop over the driver door now
Are the plans to stay with half doors? If I can find the picture, there is a really clean 2nd gen Runner with tube doors out there. :)

edit:
Here it is  :)

Yes I have seen that 4runner I am going to get a door for now but when I have the money I will do tube doors. I am more worried about starting this auto to manual swap.

Hi, i made this swap half a year ago and had until now no problems at all. The worst was cutting out the place for the shift leavers and the three wires for reverse gear light, 4WD indicator light and tacho sensor...

I have had a lot of problems crawling in an auto if I try to go up something too steep it gives out and I drop back down. I am having a problem right now with the linkage I can't get it out of park unless somebody shifts it underneath. When I work it too hard it heats up and goes nowhere till it cools off. I keep giving it more and more gas then it jumps forward and I screw something else up.  With the v-6 auto t-case the linkage comes undone and I can't shift into 4 low. when I am crawling I have to hold it in gear if I put too much torque it pops out of gear. I want a reliable manual trans. I think that was all of the reasons oh and its cheaper to put dual t-cases in a manual which will be the next project.
