LSPV i need help with it

LSPV (level sensing porpoising valve) i need a fix, the valve is eather stuck in the up position and not allowing fluid to the rear brakes or something i need help?? :confused:

Stuck in the up position would release the most fluid to the rear brakes.

I have mine tied upward with a zip tie.

even holding it up and pressing the brakes it still will not allow brake fluid to the drums

Sounds like you need to flush your lines. Something clogging them. :twocents:

Sounds like you need to flush your lines. Something clogging them. :twocents:
tried that too reverse flow up to the lsvp. i can get fluid there just not past it. i have taken it apart and cleaned it even cleaned the chevron ring the plunger just stays in the up position

so what is the ideal position for this thing? now that my rear is lifted im sure its not braking like it should. and i want to get that crazy long rod out from under my truck

get rid of it and put a prop valve under the hood

remove it  and  plum the line in direct,  if you have  big tires  you dont need no stinking proportioning valve :gap:

dont worry about them, they are a non issue.... they are return lines and things like that... if you jsut run a line from the mc to the rear, there is no need to touch any of the oterh lines
