which knuckle shims to use

rebuilding the knuckles and not sure wich shims to use ...there were no shims there originally and te trunion bearings were toast..

any help please....??

are you doing this freehand or using the SST?


I think a thick one on the bottom and 2 thin up top to get you in the ballpark....I don't remember clearly though.

I can't tell you what is right...but, when I changed out my steering arms. I had two thin ones on top.

they all vary ive seen any where from one thick on bottom and one thin on top too two thicks and 2 thin on top and bottom each
