95-2003 Tacoma Transmission
« on: Jul 06, 2007, 03:57:39 PM »
What transmissions did the 95-2003 Tacoma's have?
Do all the manual trannies for the Tacoma have the same bell housing?

Thanks

So do all of the 95-03 v6 tacoma's have the 5spd r150f transmission and is it exactly the same as the pre 95 r150f transmission or is the input shaft length different?

I am wondering if my '90 r150f tranny is the same as one from a v6 tacoma ie could it drop in to a tacoma without any modifications.

You can swap that manual transmission no mods, but the tcase is gonna have to be swapped to work.  ex I built a new 3.4 and used an 88 tranny
