Toyota V6 & 4cyl diffs with 4.88's Detroits in So Cal
« on: Jun 09, 2007, 08:41:31 AM »
Will sell front and rear as a package for $1000

V6 Third - with factory Toyota 4.88 gears and a full detroit, and multi drilled drive flange. Set up by All Pro according to PO. Probably has about 5k highway miles on it and a dozen trail rides or so. I'm told that this is a rare type of offset pinion and cannot be re-geared.
$600

4 cyl third - with 4.88 gears and a full detroit and multi drilled drive flange. Mileage and make of gears unknown but works great.
$500

Thirds are ready to be shipped. If you want them shipped you can calculate shipping from Covina, CA 91724.

Troy,

I found out that the V6 3rd member (8") for the 2nd and 3rd Gen 4Runner are same for both 2WD and 4WD.

if youll take 550 shipped for both I will take them....lol, although Ive got 5.29s sitting on my shelf I just gotta build the thirds....I like my 4.10s with 31s and with 35s its not bad......so i really dont know how I will feal about the 5.29s, I think 4.88s would be good
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.
