First Gen Driveshaft Length Q's
« on: May 31, 2007, 02:42:25 PM »
I'm getting ready to put my dual cases in, and i will be using my friend's commercial garage to get this done.  I won't be able to leave the truck at the garage while i get the driveshafts redone(i'm doing this over a weekend while the shop is closed), so i need to know the lengths you guys are running with a similar setup as mine. It's an 83'/SWB/stock L52 and 22R mounted stock/4" Marlin springs. Please help! :hammerhead:
Thanks,
Noah

Becouse of the difference in springs, mounts, setteling, and each individual truck, you wont be able to use someone elses measurements.
Hug your kids, pray for a soldier, and don't sweat the small stuff.

build a square front d-shaft so you can pull it out of the shop, and get it around a little if absolutly need, and measure the rear flange to flange after your done.

Yeah, I think that maybe that's the only option.  Luckily, the shop is only like 3 miles from my house.
