Is originaly off of a standard cab. On ext. cab the wheel doesnt barly not line up in the wheel well... Still works never grabbed fenders...
fits everything you need. and It would cost you more to buy material then to buy mine...

It would fit perfectly if you modified the body mounts that are on the bed.. With a sawzall and new angle iron for the mount .. which is what it is right now.. and yea I still have it...

hi there i have a buddy who's planning the same exact bed on his 00' taco. would it be hard to fab this to fit and will it sit center on the tires? thanks

Not at all.. It would prolly take a 1 hour tops... to change the mounts.. on it.. they are angle iron on the side of the bed all that needs to be done is cut the counts off that are on there now and place new angle iron where the mounts need to go.. simple and weld them right on. get some poly bushings and grade 8 bolts and your good to go.. that easy...

well im going to be working my ass off at my new job... so if you still have it. id love to buy it from you.

if you can find out shipping weight and cost that'd be great.

This is an awesome flatbed. I like the square tube. I am very interested in this. How much modification would it take to make it fit an '85 regular cab shortbed? Is it welded directly to the frame? Will everything line up, like the wheelwells? From what I understand, this is the same vehicle that the flatbed was designed for. Is this correct? Thanks!

You are correct. No modification needed... all holes will line up. and as well as wheelwells.. let me know ..

That cant be right... because the guy that I bought it from had a standard cab(non extended) and it lined up.. when I put it on my extended cab it barley did not... so that cant be right I thought the frames where 10 inches apart.. but i could be wrong but I know for a fact I am right about the bed lining up cause it was on my truck. Thanks

It had angle iron that comes off the sides to use poly bushings for the mounts with grade 8 bolts.. and if you pay for shipping and handleing ...

I'll pay for shipping if it isn't a huge amount of money. To much for shipping and I'll probably have to pass on it. So about the wheelwell lining up... the frame length on a shortbed regular cab and a shortbed extended cab are different. Is this correct? If so, I can understand why it will only line up on a regular cab truck. I guess I'll trust your word on it lining up with a regular cab. How many mounts are being used to hold the flatbed to the frame? Is it in good shape? No broken welds? Does the spare tire carrier parts come with? Thanks.

i put a bobbed std cab shortbed from an 83 on my 85 std cab... same bed is now on my 84 xcab

wheel wells all line up.....
