Was not even on a traill. Just driving around the dirt road at the beach.. The road that goes around the end of the point that CARS drive around on. 
It appears by the some of the pics you had alternate routes, you did not have to go through that obviously soupy area.
You're lucky those guys pulled you out, I'd have a hard time justifying pulling out some goober that got their mall crawler stuck in an area they obviously didn't belong.
And is that even a proper strap? It looks like a tie-down strap.
