the header has ports on it that the factory smog rail just bolts up to.

the exhaust is loud with just a strait header, but if it's going through a cat it's not that bad.

mine didnt have ports for connecting. i must have ordered the wrong one!

my setup is loud, and i like it.... its probably too luod for most people. at stop lights, everyone always tries to race me....

DON'T PAINT THE HEADER TUBES!!!  Leave them as they are, maybe wipe them down with wd40 to remove your skin oils, but if you paint over the chrome it will look like ass and flake off looking worse.

sorry everyone, i've been gone for two weeks. 
no, i'm not painting the header tubes!  i'm talking about the exhaust tubing behind the header so it doesn't get all rusty and stuff. 
thanks wermz!  do you have any pics of your setup?
what do you guys think of my custom intake?  the whole thing cost about $12 and it definitely made a difference.  i suggest it to anyone who is looking for a cheap power boost.
