How Tall Are You

How tall is your rig to the rooftop? Just curious.........

Please include vehicle year, suspension, body lift (yes or no and how much) and tires.....

Mine is 93 pickup with 36 inch tires and 4 inch lift = 78" to the top

83 5" springs  39.5 iroks   78 to top of hoop in bed  cab is about 77" to top

6in lift, 37's, top of the hoop is 80" top of cab is 78" spring havent settled yet either.

84 Pickup Mystery Lift...somewhere around 5 i think..33" tires around 76/77 to the top.

5" lift 37"tires no body lift, it sits about 78"

I'm amazed at how low my roof line is compared to yours Glen, but you did say that my truck didn't feel much taller than yours.

your  seat  sits  lower than mine does 

since the body lift  HAD  to go in to clear the V6 radiator  and  give the tranny a  little :wiggle: room,   i might just   work on those springs  to ride smoother and a hair lower

Here are the results thusfar...... MiniSimp (running 36" and RUF/Chebbies), Gittinit (running 36" RUF/chebbies), and glen (homebrew 3" and 2" BL) are tied for lowest at 74 inches.....   TallChevy (running 35", 5" and chebbies and 2"BL) is tallest at 82 inches


74" = 3
75" = 2
76" = 1
76.5" = 1
77" = 1
78" = 4
82" = 1

My truck is right about 78" to the roof, its an 85 pickup. I have a linked rear, 6" all pro front springs, no body lift and 42" Irocs. I'm swapping out the fronts for a mixed set of my current springs and a set of 3" Marlin buggy springs, so we shall see if it comes down a bit. Works great at this height though, very stable.

88 truck with stock suspension 3" bodylift and 33" tires 73" to top of cab.

85 4Runner, 5" Marlin springs(not seated yet), 2"body lift, 35" Truxus MT's, Marin shackels (1-1/2" over stock).
Measured 84" to top of roof rack (2"high), just clears garage door aired down. Total 82"tall x 76"wide.

2000 Dodge Durango completly stock suspension with 31's for a total of 71 1/2 inches from the pavement to the top of my roof rack. Deduct 2 1/4 inches to the top of the roof without the rack.
