84 toyota question
« on: Apr 20, 2007, 07:41:49 PM »
hello new to the boards and have a newb question. I have a 84 toyota 22R and was gonna lift it. I need to know if the motor would be strong enough to pull 39-40 inch tires something like the mickey Thompson's baja?
On road.  If not what gearing would allow it to pull them?

yes the motor will be fine, however you may want to regear, i would run something like 5.29s with that big of a tire on the street.... are you going to be just street driving this vehilce or are you going to be wheeling it?
