« on: Mar 24, 2004, 09:01:47 PM »
Here's what it gets: Marlin's 27-AT adapter-Toy crawl box-OTT adapter-D300(flipped and twin sticked)

They weren't kidding about the autos not wanting to stop. :circle: 8)

D300 flip: http://www.krawlr.com/TacoTech/gearboxes/D300.html

27-AT, some other adapter, flipped D300, twin sticks on cables.

So, I've only had a bunch of road miles on this setup until recently. On july 4th weekend I ran as a guide for the childrens charity jambo in WV. Tailgunned on the hardest trail they had called "Diablo". Roughly a 35deg climb up a dry wash. Mostly seatcushion size rocks that would just shoot out from under the tires giving you a fresh supply of WV mud to kill that last bit of traction. Momentum was your only hope. :driving: I've never thrashed my rig that hard for so long. Even neutral dropped it a few times. :nonono: But I still just aired up the tires and drove it home, no problems at all.

Thanks again Marlin!

Thanks for the great report.

Glad to hear that all went well :driving:
I have had excellent success with my auto adapters.
