3RZ-FE TACHOMETER

so, got everything crammed in the '81 now i'm just figuring out the wiring and tachometer. this is after market tach(autometer) i'm not sure where to hook up the the pick up? theres no distributor only coil packs w/electronic ignition, maybe the crank shaft positioning sensor?

there is usually a diagnostic test port for hooking up a tach, that is what i used in my old tercel

just stuck a male spade connector into it and ran the wires

yeah, i was thinkin about using the dia. port, but i have to do more wiring research on the 3rz. i have all the wiring i just have to go through it all.
