zaks rockwelled blazer update
« Reply #31 on: May 13, 2007, 10:54:18 PM »
ok its been awhile since i put picks or anything on here, so here it goes.
i have the hydro ram mounted finally, i bought the lines and the resovoir and it needs to be mounted.
the propane tank is in the back and jast as i thought its way to big so i got one off of ebay and its a ten gallon and will work perfect.
the dash is all apart so i can make my tube dash
rear end is completly mounted for now until i lincoln lock it.
two blank 15inch wheels are ordered and i have the centers that i will mount
have two of the four tires decided to go with 44tsl's
i need to make the tube front clip so i can mount the radiator
its basically just a bunch of dumb stuff from here out, its all down hill till i make the exo cage
move or I will run your ass over

i dont know if im going to follow the tape line or not. i most likly will and im going to tub the rear wheel wells so i dont have to run a crazy offset on the wheels. cause i dont really want to be driven the trail with only half the truck on the trail and half off cause its so wide but if i have to i will. i just need a tube bender and i will build my exo cage and it is really down hill from here

its been awhile but heres an update. got two tires mounted on the wheels im using but im not running the purple color. instead of running leafs up front im using shambs old air shocks in the front and im just going to link it the easy way to get it done and get me on the trail, then all i need is a tube bender to do the cage and all the little stuff and i will be running hopefully. get all the kinks out it of course, it mught have 1 or 200 but i will find them

last time I chopped out chevy fenders I followed the origional line of the fender and took about 4 inches out all the way around the fender.
Really pretty ease just tape a paint marker to a framing square and holt the square under the fender lip and go around.. Gives you an even line all the way around the fender then get out the sawzall...
If you dont stand behind our Troops... you can stand infront of them...
