newb in nor cal

hey whats up? im new from chico ca, snr in high school and have a 58 willys that im rebuilding from the ground up....ive stripped it down to the frame and and now saving up to start rebuilding it and make it into a custom crawler...ill be on here a lot looking for new ideas and prob with some help topics, so anything anybody can help with would be cool

So you definately need to get some pics on here otherwise you will get yelled at by everyone and they will be upset. Oh and dont forget you have a 95 4runnner that is your DD.

yeah shes a keeper...right now i have it down to frame parted out and what not getting ready for the rebuild that will take hopefully not to long

o and i forgot to mention, im trying to rebuild this right now with no job or $ to start with so im f-ed in the A as far as new parts go for now, but in the summer ill be rolling in dough, so ill have a lot new and better pic posts that time also....as for now, im just grinding on the body and gettin the paint off to make it look perdy for the new gun-metal grey paint job......im out

id sell em to you, but it would be a waste, three are shot beyond repair and only one holds air..but they have been sitting in my dads yard for about 8 years, and if you know anything about chico weather then you would understand what im talking about...none of them are in the same shape they were when they rolled out of the tire shop...its hard to explain

I'm from redding :thumbs: , I know what you mean about the weather!  Yea, I'd rather buy a nice set if I were to do it, I just think the retro look would be cool for my truck, but I'm sure if I found a shop that sold these they'd be spendy.

Like everybody's sayin, take some time and check the building of the willy mammoth thread.  You'll be surprised by what mark can do!
