Topic: are tacoma and landcruiser elocker actuators the same

so i was at a junk yard and i found they had a elocker from the front of a landcruiser.  they have had it at least 2-3 years now. and the guy always wanted 500 for it. being a cheap college student i never got it.  well today i want and i talked him into giving it to me for 400 no tax!!!!. well it dosent have a acctuator so i was hoping i could use a tacoma acctuator wich is easier to come by.  are they the same does anyone know?

Why not just run a cable

i think theay are the same. The cable kit from downey wont work for the front.

Ah, I see, I thought they were basically the same front and rear.

i got a 4runner diff actuator from the rear today . they look like the bolt holes line up.
