I didn't see a torque spec for knuckle stud to steering knuckle. Anyone know the ft.lbs? :eye:

The studs are screwed into the knuckle until they are tight. There is no spec for the actual stud...just the nut

Until there tight may not be right. I bought ARP studs from Front Range and was given the same advise. That worked until my wimpy arms drove the stud through the knuckle. I sure there is a manufacture spec. TG says to torque their aftermarket studs to 20-25 ft.lbs. It's good to know for those who have factory studs that loosen all the time.

Theres your problem.
He was just referring to their site for the torque spec ....

That worked until my wimpy arms drove the stud through the knuckle.

I had no torque spec and the cromoly studs went past the stop and into the knuckle. When I realized this the lock tite was dry. So I ground down the stud from the inside out, called front range and told them "For the price of the studs you could have at least provide an installation spec."  :shocking:
