No he hasnt we are trying to figure out a work weekend so we can " lift off the body and let the rest roll into the street  :yupyup: and set it on the SUBURBAN frame "  :disturbed: I think we get enough people there we can just lift the body and set it in place.  :biggthumpup:

Better weld some diamonds across that frame weld, top bottom left and right.

2 per side and one at the front and one at the back... would be the easiest... drop it on the frame and then build the body mounts up to it.

I would see how much of the brat could be cut out and mount it as low below the top of the frame as possible

The frame will be plated by Tuesday. The brat is unibody and should sit low on the frame. I plan to use sawhorses and beams to hold up the body. Then roll frame under it and lower body  :crossed:

Just an idea... Why not plate this side as well like shown in my drawing below? make a plate longer then your current plate, and do the arrow shaping to avoid the cracking that I am told usually occurs along straight edges?

That is what I was thinking, the outside of the frame definitely needs something though.
