OBA tank clearance issues ?
« on: Feb 08, 2007, 08:55:13 AM »
Okay guys , I've got my tank mounted where I want it . It's right behind the cab under the flat bed  , but after I got it where I wanted I realized that the tank is kinda close to the rear drive shaft ! about 6 inches of clearance before they would hit , is that enough ? check out the pics and tell me what you think ..

I like your mounting system. I looks like you should be fine, the driveline doesnt have as much up travel that close to the t-case. On the truggy I just build the traction bar is in about the same place and havent had any issues.
stupid people shouldn't have kids.

Oh yeah I forgot, the ratchet strap is just holding the tank up so I can position and weld it ! It would be a bit_h to hold it and weld it by myself so I had to make do with what I had ..
