Yeah, it actually turned out better than I thought. I am happy with it though. origionaly I thought I might have to ditch the rear heater but there is just enough room in the floor before the heater unit

Haha I want my entire interior to be grey. What is funny is that a red 4runner with a white top and brown interior was literally the LAST thing i wanted my 4runner to be. I hate red, I hate white tops and I do not like brown.

It has all grown on me but I do plan to paint the outside eventually to a grey or green with a black top. in the end its whats inside that counts and thats why I bought it. When I was haggling a deal with the PO I tried to get him to drop a grande off the total because "I hate the freakin' color"

I am going to do a drop shackle hanger in the rear. That should even me out. If that doesnt work then I am going to swap my stock 63s for some 2" lifted 63s. I think the drop shackle hanger will do the trick though. I have been battling this damn ass-sag for months now

For anyone who didnt see this in Jason's thread (norcalyota), this was after we left the Greenhorn clean up. Luke had to haul Brian's (also works at 4x4labs) 4runner out of Greenhorn after he broke. dump bed + winch = great way to haul a truck to the trail and back.   :rofl2:

I dunno what Justin brought his tires to but I was running my tires at 8 psi each. I didnt go any lower because I didnt know Justin had onboard air until later. you are right though it looks like we are running 35 psi, just like those pictures dont show how near verticle that trail is hehe

I aired down to 10 PSI, probably should have gone lower but I didnt know what we were getting into.

Man your Runner is way clean! Have you ever had any problems with your double shackle setup unloading under hard breaking or sharp corners?

Thanks and nope, a lot of people have asked me this but I have never had that happen. In fact even on the trail the second shackle (the one tucked against the frame) rarely drops down. I have to get really flexed out for it to go into action. I was worried about inverting shackles at first but it has been over a year now and I havnt not had that happen. If you set the shackle angle right and place your chevy spring hanger in the right place it should prevent any unnecessary unloading except on the trail when you need it most. It really doenst act any different than a single shackle IMO (except when flexing like a madman).

Ended up going on a last minute snow run today with a couple of my friends to some trails near Greenhorn. Only about one and a half feet of snow so far but after tonight things should be a little different. Looking foreward to hitting some more snow. Lack of lockers was no problem today in fact I ran basicaly the entire trail in 2WD but it was fun none the less.

Sorry some of the pics are really dark. Between the fog and the lack of sunlight whatsoever most of the good pics turned out like :pokinit:. Anyway nothing that great yet so hopefuly in a few days I can get some sweet snow runs in. :crossed:

Things ended up getting pretty :gay: when my buddy's 4runner started having alternator issues. We thought his alternator was fried because the truck kept dying randomly and wouldnt start back up. After swapping batteries around to no avail we sent someone to town for a new alternator. 2 hours later we replaced the alternator only to find 5 minutes later that the alternator wasnt the problem. Checking the fuses we discovered that the alternator fuse was fried (wish we had looked there first, damnit) so I lent him a spare fuse to get back to town. ended up spending almost as much time sitting around waiting for the alternator as we did wheeling but we all learned the importance of keeping extra fuses around....
