First and foremost I'm in need of a drivers side, rear axle u-bolt plate. It's also a shock mount stud for an '82 model. I'm sure any first generation and probably any 2nd gen would work.

I'm also looking for an SR5 gauge cluster for my '82. I posted this awhile back and had some hits with people gonna get back with me but no mention after a couple of months.

Post up if ya can help out and TIA

Go to a local wrecking yard & get the u-bolts & plate from a 2wd 79-83, don't use 84 & up, the shock mounts aren't in the same location as the earlier years. These 2wd have a spring under the axle. Use those plates & put them on top of your springs & now you have a u-bolt flip kit with a facorty shock mounts. If you have bolcks, goto the autoparts store & a lowering block for the 2wd, it will come with longer u-bolts. Your shocks might be too long. Just weld some studs further in towards the center for the upper shock mounts. Thats what I did with my 83. Or you can weld tabs to the axle.

Kyota, thanks for finding them. I will be in contact with you about the spring seats this next week. I know of one '79-'83 2wd Toyota in my area that I can look at to do the mod TallChevy mentioned. If their gone I'll get your particulars for shipping, etc.

TallChevy, thanks for the info. about the 2wd spring seats. Think I'm gonna pass on the guage cluster. If you decide to sell for about $50 including shipping let me know.

Appreciate the help y'all.

tallchevy, are you saying that the plates on the 2wd 84 + are not from an SUA rig?

The shock mounts on the 83 & older are in front of the axle. 84 & up have one forward & one rearward & the shock mount sleves are different sizes. Have to be 83 & older if you want to use your current shocks.
