nitro is a good thing Mark...hell my RC car runs on it...as do drag cars.

I'm hip...I was surprised when I saw it as an ingredient...smells good when burnt (top fuel).

You're not gluing it down, is it noisy? Mark didn't like the noise our floors made, he took it all back up and glued it down.

He's getting started on tilework in the small bathroom today.

I've got pleanty down stairs.
You're not gluing it down, is it noisy? Mark didn't like the noise our floors made, he took it all back up and glued it down. He's getting started on tilework in the small bathroom today.
No glue, just lay down the foam pad and snap in place. It's not noisy at all. We are also doing our bathroom today, not sure how far we'll get, but hope to get everything torn out at least.
Is it laminate or the real wood?
Laminate, comes in 5" wide by 4.5' long strips. http://www.simplefloors.com

Me too!
kyle is that stuff very hard to put in?  what hold it down when you get to the wall?
Really simple to put in.
1. Prep floor; no staples or nails, shim any thing more than 1/8"
2. Lay down pad; no need to staple, but you can if you want
3. check wall squareness
4. Lay down first piece, put 3/8" spacers between wood and wall
5. Second piece is inserted in to first piece by tilting the back up and pushing down. Light taps with hammer on block will snug it in to place.
6. Do rest of area
7. Pull spacers and lay down trim

The wood will lay flat once installed, no need to hold it down with anything. Trim will hold down the edges though.

OK   :toiletwait:  our turn in the bathroom.
Mark got started on tiling the hall bath last week

He bit the bullet and we just bought a POS sink cabinet from Lowes. He's going to have to finish it for them as it seems they didn't glue the bottom drawer together and it's all wobbly :headshake:  there is no pride in construction anymore.

But it looks OK from the outside... EXCEPT... and I don't have a picture yet... the wall on the right side of it is not square :ack:

More bathroom pics in a bit but next on to our latest addition...

We started talking about this last week and I started doing some research yesterday afternoon...

We were talking about getting a smallish round above ground pool. From house to fence is only 20' so we couldn't get anything huge.

I started checking out prices online and even for a 12' x 48" pool we were looking at about $1000, which was Mark kinda figured.

I ended up on eBay and I found this Intex inflatable pool 12' x 36" for $59.99 + $31 shipping. We're like 'ah hell, if it only lasts the summer we'd get our money's worth.
So I started doing more research. I found another with the filter pump for $114 + $50 shipping.. but it was in Florida. So Mark suggests I try to find some place that sells them locally... as it turns out Target does and they had a 15' x 36" in stock with the pump, skimmer, cover, and ladder for $154!

So we head out to our local Target...THEN we find THIS....on the shelf next to it 15' x 42" pole pool..$299

We pull the box off the shelf and find a sale tag for it... $239... SOLD!!! SO $255 after tax and we got us a pool! LOL

It went up really easy, we had it set up in less than an hour.

Tiny got his feet wet... and here's Mark relaxing...:haha:

We spent the night sitting in our camping chairs watching the water rise till it was about to our butts and went in to have dinner.
