small block chevy in 2wd toyota

ok, im out of ideals why im not gettin any spark on my hei distributor setup.  i just replaced the cap, rotor, accel ignition module, accel coil, new plugs wires, and im getting power to the coil, what could be the problem?   :headscratch:

i checked the red and yellow wires from the coil to the module and they are gettin power too, could it be the capacitor or resistor thing inside the dist.  or sumthing else, i need help  :think:

find a buddy with an extra chevy distributor layin around and use it, they're a dime a dozen. save the headache.

Check the coil for collapse?  Pull cap and make sure the rotor is actually spinning when the engine is being cranked over?  You didn't forget the magnetic pickup (not 100% sure if that's what it's called) under the rotor?  Ask me how I know about that one!  You don't have any loose connections or bad grounds do you?

the rotor is spinnin, and i bought a magnetic pickup last night, so im gonna put that in today and see if thats the problem, i hope it is, otherwise im gonna get the full distributor setup from dui distributors

well i was sold the wrong magnetic pickup coil, and i was sick of tryin to polish a turd, so i bought an accel billet aluminum distributor and she fired right up, so it was definantly the pick up coil
