Also, ifs rotors will not work on the solid axle, you need fj rotors.  That is ofcourse unless you were looking for the hubs

So I can swap on IFS hubs and rotors, and they will work with my 91 calipers?  I was never 100% clear on this...

nope, use the 85 spindels and fj 40 discs with v6 calipers for the best stoppin power, but u can also use 86-94 ifs 4cyl calipers too, i used the v6 ones on my 4runner, and it stops on a dime

huh?  Can ya be more specific?  I have stock 4 cylinder calipers too and they will definately not lock up my 35s.  Maybe in loose gravel or dirt...  But definately not on the pavement.

hmm...  How does that work?  Are the 4 cylinder IFS Calipers better?  I have a set sitting in my Garage..  Will they bolt right on?  What makes them better?  Now that you have me all excited, I'm ready to go wrench on my Yota...  lol

So with the Fj 40 rotors, the 4 cylinder IFS calipers bolt right on to the solid axle and give you more braking power?  Do you need the IFS hubs or any other modifications?

nope, its just a bolt on fit, i had to grind a little on my v6 calipers, cause they are a bit bigger and rubbed the rim

i got the SAS kit from marlin, it can with landcruiser rotors, they bolted up to the solid axle hub and the ifs calipers bolted to teh knuckle. i had to grind the top and bottom of the caliper because it would not clear teh rotor, but i checked with marlin on that one and he said it was typical. oh and braded steel brake lines helped with that a little too.
