I have an 89 reg cab pickup that is pretty much stock. Several months ago I replaced the front wheel bearings and brake discs with Toyota parts. I also replaced the original calipers with the Marlin units. I noticed a light grinding feel when braking lightly at low speeds that would happen every once in a while. I replaced the pads from the Marlin calipers with Toyota units and a Toyota shim kit. They never squeek now, but that same grinding is there. I can't find anything else up front that could be causing this.
Anyone have experience with this?
Thank you!
