Breather thread pattern???

Anyone know the thread pattern fo the breathers on the diff? I'm riding the shortbus today and can't find the answer. :hammerhead:

but a brass 1/8" will work and seal jsut fine, it will cut itself new threads as it goes in and not damage the housing in any way

Awesome! I have new breathers that will not trap any water no matter the height and will not spill if the vehicle turns over..

how dose it work and ware did you get them x2

1/8"NPT will fit, but you will only get a couple threads in and may get knocked out.

Grease a 1/8" NPT tap and cut the threads a little deeper so it goes in a little more. The grease will help trap the metal chips.

wm, i used a standard 1/8" npt, and my brass fitting threaded all the way in, it hasnt come off yet, there is at least 1/4" length of thread threded into the thing

Yea, but you are special too. You said brass, you may have cut down the threads on the fitting by cranking it down.

They are Bladders from Arctic Cat ATVs..The stretch and contract so it can still breath but keeps ever thing out.
