well my truck runs better now. but i still have a little miss. need to get me a compresion tester for my next test. i hope i dont have low compresion. but if i do that mean my new engine swap gets to happen a lil early.

I have been messing with this for a while now 79Coyotefrg was helpin me a bit and set his at .007 &.010 I used these #'s and my motor ran great nice and quiet but after about 100 miles my ticking is back.  Use a blade style feeler gauge.  Thats what I am doing just milking it till I have enough to build another motor, good luck.

after adjusting the valve make sure when you tighten down the lock nut it didn't move the adjuster screw , make the lock nut very tight also they ave been known to back off. and adjust the valve with a warm motor not cold!!!

my valves where way to tight. couldnt even get the fealer gauge under them.  now there all adjusted and the engine runs alot better. but i still have a rough idle. and 2 missfires. i have done a full tune up on it. plugs, wires. cap , all the good stuff. i think im just going to run it for awhile. and just build me up a new one.
