4:88 E locker complete
« on: Oct 05, 2006, 09:42:06 PM »
This unit has a Yukon 4:88 V-6 R&P, Marlin's three way flange and the wiring harness.  Since those three items have been added there has been "ZERO" miles put on it.  The unit came from a newer truck and as a whole has less then 5k miles on it.

It is in immaculate shape and is the next best thing to new.  Asking $825.00.
It's built Chevy tough with Toyota stuff!

It will bolt up and fit your front end with some moderate housing modifications.  Do a search here on the board to find out exactly what is involved, many on this board have done the mod to there housings.

I had a friend of mine do it who works in a speed shop building and re building trannies, axles and engines.  If your serious about purchasing it I am more then happy to give you his name and number and he is more then willing to talk to you about it.

What part of Northern CA are you in?  I have family there and go down from time to time.  As far as an estimate for shipping, I am being told that is is on the border of "traditional" shipping so I need to get back to you.

I "estimated" the weight of that thing to be 80lbs.  If I am correct or even close it would be $43.00 with DHL.

SO why are you selling this?

Here is the short story: I originally wanted to run it in the front of my rig.  Several years ago I "clocked" my front housing quite a bit to ease driveline angles.  What I found is that with the front being clocked the motor on the unit interfears big time with the spring pad creating another mess to deal with.  So then I decided to run it in the rear until a friend of mine decided to sell his D-60 6 lug.

So:  I no longer need it or can use it.  :-)

Yeah .... a few things.  Possibly high steer arms, an IFS box in good condition, some good seats .....

Let me think of a few more ....

here is a p[ic from the nes  it shows the seat with the vynil cover. i have one cover and 2 seats. you could buy the other cover or just use noo covers.  I also HAve A single Del sol lether or vynil seat. which is nice.  and I have 2 bmw seats that I might be convinced to part with.

I am a little more interested in a traditional style seat.  Like something out of a Honda, Toyota (car) that looks cool, very functional and will somewhat hold you in without killing you to get in and out.
