Welcome to the Four Wheel Drive Club of Fresno
« on: Sep 22, 2006, 05:28:54 PM »

The Four Wheel Drive Club of Fresno was founded in March 1954. Since that time the club has been active maintaining trails and helping to ensure that more off-road trails aren't closed to public use.

Hey Mike!

I looked at your search history and it was another member of the forum who razzed you with your Jeep, not me

I am a lover of all 4WD vehicles :yesnod: We have many, many Jeep, Chevy, Ford, Dodge, Suzuki, and even some Isuzu, Daihatsu, and Unimog customers

Cool pics -- I'll keep an eye out for ya this summer up on the local trails! :eye: :eye:

I also posted this to our Facebook for any local friends to show up

What is this all about??

Taro,

Each second Tuesday of every month the 2nd oldest 4WD club in the United States, our very own Four Wheel Drive Club of Fresno, meets at 7p at Granite Park's Yosemite Falls Cafe, on Cedar Ave between Ashlan and Dakota Aves. This is the most active club in the area and is responsible for the trail maintenance of most our local trails, so much so that they hold the keys to the green forest service gates!

They are very active in educating proper trail use and in instructing classes such as chain saw permits for use in the national forest during designated trail repair and openings. Marlin Crawler has been a member since 1995.

Can you make it out tonight for dinner and to check out the club? Marlin, Christine, and myself will be there around 6:30p today.

Would be cool to meet ya there!
BigMike

The club's website address changed so I updated the opening post of this thread.

(note: Me-n-Eds changed from a Pizza place to a Mexican food place, La Revoluction or something like that)
